Stay at Paradis Beachcomber
Children love this large resort and its vast array of things to do. Paradis Beachcomber is a playground in the sun, in a stunning location, for almost all ages. Unfortunately, the resort and rooms feel old and dated, in desperate need of renovation. Over recent years the service level has dropped dramatically, with unprofessional staff and long waits for almost everything. Paradis Beachcomber closed for the 2023 summer season and will reopen for the 2023-2024 winter season.
Location
Situated about 75 min drive from the airport, you will find Paradis in the southwest tip of Mauritius’ Le Morne peninsula. Sister resort Dinarobin Beachcomber resides right next door, and guests have access to facilities and restaurants in both hotels.
Rooms
The property comprises 280 spacious, sea-facing suites, complete with private terrace and soft tropical hues. The only room categories we currently recommend are Paradis and Presidential suites. Everything else is too tired and old.
Who is it for
While sister property Dinarobin is more couples-orientated, Paradis is larger and considered one of the best family-friendly resorts in Mauritius. Activities like kids yoga, crab hunting, fishing, watersports and go karting make this the perfect youngster playground.
Facilities & activities
The 2023 renovation will update the restaurants, rooms and suites. We’re not sure of the total extent of the refurbishment and whether new facilities will be added. Historically, guests have enjoyed access to facilities at Dinarobin and Paradis Beachcomber. The range and quality of these facilities has been a key reason it’s such a popular choice with families.
