Just note that the island, although stunningly beautiful, is one of the smaller private islands in the Maldives, with wave breakers that can spoil the view for some.
Location
In the remote Noonu Atoll, 45 minutes northwest of Male by seaplane, where two more of the best Maldives resorts are situated, Soneva Jani and Cheval Blanc - many of our clients combine two Noonu Atoll resorts on one holiday. When arriving by private jet you can land at Maafaru International Airport, then it’s a 35-minute speedboat transfer. There’s excellent diving and snorkelling all around the atoll, however, the resort does not have its own house reef.
Rooms
The 43 villas are designed around their outside space. Each has a private pool and terrace plus private butler. Many also feature outdoor baths and showers, with more extensive terraces overlooking the Indian Ocean. They vary in size and can accommodate one to ten guests, with around half built over the water. For absolute privacy and discretion we recommend one of the four private residences, especially the romantic residence which is only accessible by boat. The two-bedroom beach pool house is a great choice for families.
