Approximately 30 minutes from Mahé airport, the Maia is in a stunning location on the island’s southwest coast, right next door to idyllic Anse Louis beach. Expect some of the most dramatic sunsets you have ever seen.

All of the 30 villas feature private terraces, infinity pools and butler service. The largest ones have direct beach access. Smaller higher-located villas offer the best sunsets. Bill Bensley is one of our favourite hotel designers, and along with Lek Bunnag, he created the stunning confluence of Aztec, Balinese and African design styles.
Who is it for
Couples. This is a romantic spot. Whilst the resort offers generous deals for children,all the villas have a single bedroom and there is no kids club service. If you are travelling to Mahe with little ones, consider Constance Ephelia or the Four Seasons instead.

The Beyond All Inclusive concept means you can dine and drink anywhere around the resort, anytime. There’s a gorgeous Balinese style spa where you can receive treatments accompanied by the sound of nature. Scuba diving, yoga, and qi gong lessons are all included in your stay.
