Spread expansively on the verdant slopes of Praslin Island it’s impossible to escape the view here - cloudless sky and the crystal clear sea below. It's spellbinding. This all-villa resort is a nice choice when you want to explore Praslin Island. Overall it’s a similar quality to Constance Lemuria but lacks the golf option.
Location
On the northeast coast of chilled out Praslin Island, overlooking Anse Takamaka beach. From Mahe it’s a 15-minute flight to Praslin then a 30-minute transfer to the resort. Extend your holiday by spending a few days at a Mahe resort.
Rooms
Raffles is an 86 all-villa luxury resort. All villas feature private pools but not all have views and some are a long way from the beach. Largest villas have two bedrooms so other resorts are better if you’re a large party of family.
Who is it for
Families and couples, although the hillside location and large grounds mean we can’t recommend it for guests with mobility issues.
Facilities & activities
A mixed bag. Seven restaurants and bars mean there’s a good choice for a week-long holiday. There’s the largest pool in the Seychelles, when you’re bored with your own private pool. We think they could offer more in terms of experiences - Constance Lemuria is better in this regard.
