Antalya airport is the gateway to the region with connections to many European hubs. Those unable to find a direct flight will likely transfer via Istanbul, an hour flight away. Once on the ground, chauffeur driven cars are the most convenient and stress-free means of transport.
Climate & seasons
Mid-June to Mid-September is ideal for enjoying beach life. May and October are still plenty warm, just without the crowds and with lower rates. Golfers in particular would find these shoulder months particularly pleasant.
Where to go
Antalya is home to many superb all-inclusive resorts that do everything within their power to provide you with no reason to leave their luxury confines. Stay within walking distance of your villa and indulge in the beach, the pool, the spa and the golf course. Most hotels share the same stretch of beach as Antalya city – those looking for a more secluded and relaxed location should take a look at the Maxx Royal Kemer, you won’t be disappointed.
What to do
Antalya has been endowed with natural beauty and rich history, these already enviable attractions have been augmented by the addition of world-class golf courses and a range of theme parks such as the Land of Legends. Most visitors take advantage of the vast array of amenities provided by their all-inclusive resorts – many of which offer multiple pools, kids’ clubs, aqua parks, beach clubs and stage performances. When the kids are occupied the adults can golf. Private yacht and gulet trips are a great day trip but we suggest those looking for a true sailing adventure may wish to take a look at Bodrum peninsula.
