Location
Approximately 30 minutes from Athens airport and 45 minutes from the Acropolis. Unless you are arriving by helicopter, of course. The Four Seasons is located in the refurbished Astir Palace, a 1960s Modernist landmark that was once the playground of Bridget Bardot and Frank Sinatra.
Rooms
303 of them, shared between two main buildings. Plus a host of bungalows scattered amongst the pine-clad peninsula. Every room boasts a sea view, including glass-fronted bathrooms for a soak in the tub with a view.
Who is it for
It’s great for solos, couples or families, anyone at all who is looking to splurge on a little overindulgence, well-deserved of course. It is a big establishment however so if it’s seclusion or privacy are top of your list, maybe look elsewhere.
