Kempinski Hotel Adriatic Istria

A good summer option for travelling families with a fine range of amenities and activities. Note the northern location means the hot season isn’t too long, June and September can be colder than you might think.

Stay at Kempinski Istria

Skip a pebble hard and far enough from the beach and it would skim all the way across the shimmering waters of the Adriatic to Venice. Surrounded by twisting vines and ancient olive groves it can be hard to separate the scenery of northern Croatia from those across the water. Yet one is buckling under tourist crowds and the other has quiet roads and empty coves.Time to change it up maybe? Take the road less travelled. Especially when hotels like the Kempinski Adriatic are waiting to deliver a fine standard of service, a wide range of amenities in grand surroundings clad in endless marble and dark wood.

Location

Nestled on a hillside amongst lush vineyards and olive groves facing the inviting waters of Adriatic and looking across to hidden Venice. In a relatively isolated location in northwest Croatia close to the Slovenian border. 1 hour drive from Pula Airport.

Rooms

186 rooms and suites with spacious balconies or terraces, the decor is lush with wooden floors and dark furnishings. Nifty bedside controls give you control of everything from curtains to lighting.

Who is it for

A good option for families with kids. The proximity to the borders of Slovenia and Italy also makes it a great option for those on driving holidays.

Facilities & activities

A small pebbly beach. A 3000sqm spa. Two fine restaurants, the Dijana offering Mediterranean cuisine and the beachside Kanova serving up locally-inspired Istrian delights. Close to the Adriatic Golf Club, a good but not quite world-class course.
