Perched along the iconic Jumeirah Bay, this Mediterranean-style resort brings a special dose of Italian glamour to the Middle East. The complex boasts private white sand beaches, the first Bvlgari Marina & Yacht Club, and one of the best vistas in town.Secluded enough from the city while also being close, this is a modern space combining vintage touches and Italian furnishings with homely natural materials and silk-fabric walls. Wake to sweeping views of the Arabian Gulf. Wine and dine overlooking the shimmer of the marina, with gastronomy that channels the best of both in this unique Italian-Arabian world.
Location
Located on Jumeirah Bay, Dubai’s seahorse-shaped artificial isle, the resort is a short drive from the mainland and 15 minutes from the mighty Burj Khalifa and renowned Dubai Mall. But as it's pretty much the only thing in the bay, there's nowhere close you can walk to. You do need a taxi or car to go anywhere beyond the resort.
Rooms
The minimal design in the rooms and suites will impress most. It's beautifully done and gives the property a very homely feel. All rooms have a balcony with sea and skyline views. Stand-alone villas are good for families and friends, complete with outdoor terraces, butler service and private pools.
Who is it for
This is an opulent establishment that caters to both couples and families, because there's the space and service to satisfy everyone who comes here. Those travelling with kids are in for a delight - expect mini bathrobes and slippers, themed pyjamas and other thoughtful, child-sized treats.
Facilities & activities
A stellar outdoor pool and beach club will let you laze amid Burj Khalifa views. The spa is superb, although the gym is a little small. There are two Michelin-starred restaurants and breakfast is served all day, even in the evening should you wish. It will probably be the service you remember most, some of the best we've experienced anywhere in the Emirates.
