Location
Yaukuve Levu Island is in the south of the Fijian archipelago, far from the crowded tourist islands in the north. It’s set on the Great Astrolabe Reef and you can dive, fish and snorkel directly from the beach. From Nadi International Airport it’s a 45-minute seaplane or helicopter flight. Kokomo’s private airport lounge is a very welcome touch after your long flight to Fiji.
Rooms
First impressions here are about space. The villas are more like homes, with vast indoor and outdoor areas, a private pool, hot tub, outdoor stone shower, enormous bathroom and more. With floor-to-ceiling windows these sanctuaries make it feel like you have the entire South Pacific to yourself. Both the sunrise and sunset villas are great, so that choice depends on what time you plan to wake up. Two- and three-bedroom villas are ideal for families, with the larger four- and five-bedroom residences designed for multigenerational family holidays.

Facilities & activities
White sand fringes the island. Jungle carpets the interior and it’s a tough work to the top of the island for the fitness centre. Tropical flowers surround the nine-room spa. Kids’ and teens’ clubs are tucked away in the island’s centre. Get off the island on a paddleboard or kayak. Snorkel or dive from the beach. Daily excursions explore the southern archipelago, including Fijian villages and dive sites.
