Location
On the hillside between Ornos Bay and Agios Ioannis, Kalesma Mykonos has outstanding views but it’s not directly on the beach. Still, plenty of beaches and attractions are nearby and the isolated location is a big part of the appeal.
Rooms
Mixing traditional architecture with modern Mykonian flair, the enormous suites are among the best on the island. They measure over 150 sqm inside and out, with a terrace, pool and bathtub with sea views. Up to three can be interconnected. Then there’s a three-bedroom and four-bedroom villa.
Who is it for
Both couples and families will find tranquillity here, but note there are not many amenities for young children. It’s for people who want to get away from it all, spend many languid hours in a beautiful place, then do the odd excursion during their stay if you want to be directly on a beach then go elsewhere.
Facilities & activities
This is a small property mostly designed around guests enjoying services in their suites, such as in-room spa treatments. There’s a very good onsite restaurant and pool bar, plus private chef services can be arranged. But don’t stay here for the amenities, stay here for the privacy.
