Borgo Santandrea, Amalfi

This is the newest luxury hotel on the Amalfi Coast. We’ve already had clients staying there, and they were very happy. The biggest advantage of Borgo Sant’Andrea’s is its private beach, which is something unique on the hilly and rocky Amalfi coast.

Stay at Borgo Santandrea

At Borgo Sant’Andrea, you won’t always be sure you are on dry land. Unimpeded views of the Tyrrhenian Sea, the breeze coming in through large windows, a simple white and blue decor — you will feel on board an elegant vessel, floating mid-air above the glittering ocean. Now step outside. Buganvilias climb the pergolas and begonias bloom in the shade. You go down flights of steps and, terrace after terrace, the gardens lead you down to the hotel’s private beach.

Location

Borgo Sant’Andrea perches on the crags above the village of Conca dei Marini. Positano is a 30-minute drive away, and you can get to Amalfi in 10 minutes by car — or a 50-minute walk.

Rooms

All seven categories of rooms and suites have views of the sea. They all have only one bedroom, but some can be interconnected. If you want the very best, book the Deluxe Suite, which has a private garden and small infinity pool.

Who is it for

Borgo Sant’Andrea is designed for adults, so kids under 8 are not allowed. Foodies will find it particularly delightful, but anyone who loves the Amalfi Coast will be happy to lodge here.

Facilities & activities

The gardens offer the beauty of endemic Mediterranean flora and wide views of the ocean. There’s a private beach, and also a private jetty — coming and going by yacht is really easy. Three restaurants offer different takes on Mediterranean food, always with fresh local ingredients.
