Mandarin Oriental, Lago di Como

The usual impeccable high-standard expected from Mandarian Oriental in a fantastic lake-side setting. A building steeped in history given a clean and contemporary facelift. Everything is new, shiny, expensive. A great choice for both families and couples.

Stay at MO Lago di Como

If some walls can talk, then those of the 19th-century Villa Roccabruna can surely sing. Set amongst verdant gardens and gazing over the shimmering waters this delightful lake-side mansion was once home to mezzo-soprano Giuditta Pasta, one of Bellini's muses. When you glimpse the dramatic setting for the first time you can instantly appreciate its operatic quality. The stately period grandeur of the house remains but with decor recently refreshed with a little trademark Asian flavour by the purveyors of high-end luxury the Mandarin Oriental group. Expect high standards, and you won’t be disappointed.
