Stay at St. Regis Venice
Like a young beauty masquerading as a grand dame before dropping her mask and wowing the crowds at one of the city’s famed balls, the St. Regis has emerged refreshed and after a marathon-two year renovation of the ageing Westin Europa & Regina. The hotel’s convenient location in the heart of The Floating City remains, but the contemporary and avant-garde design is new. Stunning close-up views of Venice’s most iconic landmarks are now combined with eclectic artwork and a truly modern approach to luxury. From the moment you step onto the hotel's private jetty into the hands of superbly trained staff you know you are in good hands.
Great. Located on the Grand Canal directly across from the Basilica of Santa Maria della Salute, sharing a view with the nearby Gritti Palace. So close to Basilica di San Marco that on a quiet morning you may be able to catch the plainsong from the morning mass on the breeze. Close to enough designer stores to worry your accountant.
130 guestrooms and 39 suites, a wide enough range to suit most visitors' needs. For more space opt for the 2-bed Presidential suite or the 3-bedroom Penthouse with a top floor balcony offering a panorama of Saint Mark’s Basilica and the Grand Canal. Where possible in Venice always opt for a canal view room.
Who is it for
With such an enviable location the St. Regis is recommended for almost anybody, both couples and families will find it delightful. Those expecting traditional opulent Venetian palace decor however may be surprised by the rather contemporary environs.
