How to Travel Around the World in Style

Phileas Fogg did it in 80 days. You can travel around the world in less than three weeks. You can combine many dream destinations into a single holiday.

There are four different ways our clients enjoy these adventurous expeditions. It’s remarkable how much you can experience on a single trip.

One-Way Around the World

Tomas Safarik circumnavigated the globe in 28 days last summer, exploring how such an ambitious trip could be created. He said:

The more I explored the options the more I appreciated the luxury of choice. There are so many ways to travel around the world using direct one-way flights.

Tomas’s adventure is the headline article in edition III of Explorer magazine. He discovers the simplicity of taking convenient one-way flights to include many once-in-a-lifetime destinations in a single trip.

For example, it’s a long flight to Australia or New Zealand. But there are many fantastic destinations in Asia to enjoy on the way, like the islands of Indonesia, Japan or Thailand

Bora Bora is conveniently located on the flight route between Australia or New Zealand and California.

From Sydney or New Zealand you can fly back to Europe via California. Hawaii and French Polynesia are located on the flight route, so you can stop in Bora Bora. And why not stop in New York too. Tomas said:

I love the diversity I experienced, of food, people, weather, culture, of everything. And the feeling of possibility this type of trip creates.

Instead of spending half a day flying there and half a day flying back, you can explore many new destinations on a single trip, going one way around the world in only three or four weeks.

An Air Cruise

Four Seasons operate the widest program of air cruises, on board their custom Airbus A321LR with 48 lie-flat seats.

Air cruises connect some of the world’s most exceptional and inaccessible destinations, in a relatively short amount of time.

You travel around the world, in a small group, on a private jet. It’s a relatively new concept offered by brands like Four Seasons, Aman and National Geographic.

Fly directly between exotic destinations that are difficult to combine on a normal holiday. Imagine visiting Easter Island, Bora Bora, the Great Barrier Reef, Petra, The Pyramids, Sicily and more, in only three weeks.

Instead of cruising on the sea, you travel in a customised jet with lie-flat seats, typically with 15 – 70 other passengers and guides.

Four Seasons offers the widest program of air cruises, on their custom Airbus A321LR, using Four Seasons properties. Such as the two-week African wonders tour.

National Geographic Expedition are less luxurious and the group size is bigger, but the trips are cheaper and the itineraries more adventurous.

National Geographic’s 24-day Around the World trip costs USD 97,000, including Machu Picchu, Easter Island, Samoa, Great Barrier Reef, Angkor Wat, Nepal, Bhutan, Taj Mahal, Serengeti, Petra and Marrakech.

Arctic Horizon has launched a three-week Arctic air cruise expedition. Aman’s air cruises are the most exclusive, with a maximum of nine couples on an Airbus ACJ318. Safrans de Monde is the original air cruise operator, the cheapest option for this type of trip.

Use Dubai or Another Middle East City as a Hub

Dubai has become the best globally connected city in the world. And it’s connected by one of the best airlines in the world.

From Dubai you can fly to Rio de Janeiro and explore Brazil. Fly to the best safari destinations in Africa, like Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa and Rwanda for gorillas.

From Dubai you can fly to almost all of Asia’s best destinations. To Australia, New Zealand, even the United States.

Dubai has one of the world’s best collections of luxury hotels and you can try somewhere new with every layover. Like the new Atlantis The Royal.

It’s not quite going around the world, but by using Dubai as a hub you can comfortably combine different continents and distant destinations highest on your travel bucket list.

The other advantage is the superb variety of accommodation in Dubai. Imagine flying to Cape Town for a week-long adventure, taking a few days to relax in a beachfront villa in Dubai, then flying to Japan or Vietnam for another week of adventure.

This is shorter and faster than returning home. And in Dubai you will still have lots to discover, like the new Atlantis The Royal

This is a great way to combine two continents and two completely different holidays, into one. Like an African safari with a cultural trip in Asia. Or African safari with your favourite Maldives beach resort.

Private Jet Around the World

Dassault Falcon 7x

Yes, it’s possible to fly by private jet around the world. In fact, our clients have done this.

Private jets give you complete freedom over where to go. They maximise your time and offer absolute flexibility.

We planned around the world trips by private jet for our clients, who wanted to travel as a large family. We found them to be a similar price to air cruise holidays.

The advantages are endless. Create your own itinerary, with your favourite destinations, hotels and experiences. Travel on a private jet customised to your needs. Do what you want, with the people you love.

Now we’re fully in the post-pandemic era of travel, completely without limitations.

And the only question to ask is: where do you want to explore?
