Stay at Le K2 Palace
The family-owned and operated Le K2 Palace feels like two properties in one. Spacious rooms and suites are ideal for couples wanting immediate access to the slopes and all the hotel services you’d expect in Courchevel. Underground corridors link the hotel’s main building with the multi-bedroom chalets, which are ideal for larger families and friends. Everywhere in the hotel you will enjoy owner-led hospitality, clean and modern design, plus some standout facilities.
Location
A true ski-in ski-out property, albeit on the lower end of the slopes. You could also consider Le K2 Altitude, which has a more privileged location for skiing and a less convenient location for the rest of Courchevel.
Rooms
We’d skip the classic and deluxe rooms and recommend the prestige rooms as a starting point. They’re 50 square metres with a lounge area and extra bed for a third person without additional charges. The duplex suites are ideal for families with one or two children, while the chalets are designed for groups of six or more. Chalets enjoy dry access to all the hotel facilities, plus a dedicated butler and in-chalet breakfast. The newest chalets have private pools and terraces with mountain views too.
Who is it for
A fine choice for almost anybody coming to ski in Courchevel. We particularly like the combination of a ski-in ski-out chalet combined with top hotel services.
Facilities & activities
Skiing is the reason you stay at this seasonal property. The facilities encourage quiet evenings at the hotel, rather than out in the town. Like Courchevel’s only Peruvian restaurant and Le Sarkara, awarded two Michelin stars for its dessert concept. A steak and wine restaurant, salon for afternoon tea and Bar Le 8611 for cocktails. The Goji Spa is stunning and there’s an entire Children’s World which offers childcare and a specific Teenager’s Area.
