Stay at FS Megève
Prepare to dine and wine to an undulated horizon, with large windows that frame an undisturbed Alps view. Impossible to forget, this landscape leads into an eclectic interior, full of contemporary comforts and creative flair. And yet, a homely aura remains instilled as you wind down to the scent of real log fires. An unrushed dip in the pool awakens you for the day’s pleasures, of which there are many. Remote heli skiing adventures fill your afternoons. These action-packed moments are followed by the sound of calming chords, as your spa therapist alleviates with tenderness and skill. You may feel rested, but you’re not done yet. A glass of your favourite wine already in hand, you arrive into the cellar where an atmospheric dinner awaits.
Perched on a secluded spot on the Mont d’Arbois side, the property is a 10-minute drive from the centre of Megeve. A horse-drawn sleigh will whisk you to the closest ski lift, roughly 600m away. Helicopter ski safaris are also easily accessible from the nearby altiport.
Four interconnecting chalets house the hotel’s 55 abodes, each adorned in delicious shades of chocolate and cream. The majority of rooms have a private balcony that opens onto sloping views. Suites come with a cosy working fireplace.
