Enjoy a locally sourced dinner a la carte in your suite - there are just a handful of them in 5 hectares of grounds - as you sip on local cider or excellent wine. Relax in one of the suite’s roll top iron baths or melt into a comfortable chair in front of the fire. Wander out of your private suite to the sound of...nothing.Service is discreet, as one would expect from a rural retreat, but personal at the same time. Simply perfect.
Location
Two and a half hours will see you from Paris to Domaine D’Ablon, with the colourful houses and grand architecture of Honfleur and Deauville just 10 and 30 minutes away respectively.
Rooms
Every suite here is very different, but all feature quintessential Normandy quirks such as thatched roofs and ancient wooden beams. Our favourite is surely the Bouillerie suite, nestled in its own cherry orchard. The charming room features a mezzanine, shelves filled with books and art and a fireplace in the bedroom for those chillier Normandy nights. The Dovecote is another fine option with its cathedral-like vaulted wooden ceiling. Or you could go for the huge 500m2 16th century manor. The options are seemingly endless.
Who is it for
Families will enjoy the privacy of the suites. Pets are also welcome which makes a nice addition. The location is for rural lovers only - don’t expect any parties for miles around.
Facilities & activities
The breakfasts here are excellent, as one would expect from Normandy with its bountiful produce. Dining is overseen by chef and baker Jérôme Billochon and his eye for detail is worth the trip alone. If you’re looking for more excitement, we can arrange a range of activities from visiting cider presses, to horse trekking to sulky driving; an exhilarating horse race set on Deauville’s expansive beach.
