Shangri-La Paris

"A good choice for anyone who wants an unencumbered view of the Eiffel Tower. This is one of the glitziest neighborhoods in town, but bear in mind it’s further afield than the Golden Triangle, so if you’re looking for shopping on your doorstep, look elsewhere."

Explore Shangri-La Paris

Night has fallen and you’ve returned to your room at the Shangri La. You were sensible enough to book one of their rooms with a view, and as you open your curtains, there it is. The Eiffel Tower right in front of you, lighting up the night sky.You head out onto your private terrace and call for Champagne as you watch the tower’s bright lights, listening to the everyday bustle of the city below. With a view like this, there’s only one city in the world you could possibly be in right now.

Location

Set in one of the most exclusive neighborhoods in Paris, the Eiffel Tower is just 20 minutes by foot. This is the main reason to stay in the 16h arrondissement - most of Paris’ other major landmarks are around a 30 minute walk away.

Rooms

40% of the rooms and 60% of the suites have sweeping views of the Eiffel Tower and the Seine river. If you want one of the best views in Paris, we can let you know which of the rooms and suites to book. The hotel is south facing so expect plenty of natural light to stream in from the floor to ceiling windows, lighting up the cream and champagne hues that adorn the calming rooms.

Who is it for

The Shangri La is great for couples, professionals and families alike but more than anything, come if you’re an Eiffel Tower aficionado. Museum buffs will also enjoy the 16th arrondissement which has the highest concentration of museums in Paris.

Amenities & Activities

One of the hotel’s highlights is a beautiful swimming pool, filled with natural light thanks to enormous glass windows. Another is the only Michelin starred Chinese restaurant in France (this is the Shangri La after all). Then there’s the spa, with its natural healing methods derived from ancient Asian practices.
