La Samanna, A Belmond Hotel, St Martin
About St Martin: A small island with some delightful beaches, and a mix of Dutch, French and Creole culture. St Martin has the best flight connections to Europe, plus convenient flight and yacht connections to other Caribbean islands.
La Samanna, A Belmond Hotel: Although the resort is older than the rest on this list, La Samanna has one of the best beaches in the Caribbean. The service is excellent too.
Our Recommendation: Suites have the best beachfront location and multi-bedroom villas are excellent for large families. Enjoy Belmond Bellini Club benefits with your stay.
Island Hopping: St Martin is a transport hub so our clients often spend a couple of nights at La Samanna, to start or end their Caribbean holiday.
Rosewood Le Guanahani St Barth
About St Barth: St Barth is like the French Riviera in the Caribbean, a long-time playground for jetsetters with its designer boutiques, stunning restaurants and social scene.
Rosewood Le Guanahani: St Barth also offers some divine beaches and two of the best are here, at this fully renovated resort on a peninsula. The most private and spacious place to stay in St Barth.
Our Recommendations: St Barth is a small island for exploring so don’t be put off by Le Guanahani only having one on-site restaurant. Get a signature suite as a couple or a multi-bedroom suite as a family. Then use them as a retreat from which to discover St Barth.
Island Hopping: Combine St Barth with Anguilla and St Martin, three closeby islands which are completely different from each other.
Necker Island, British Virgin Islands
About the British Virgin Islands: Dozens of islands and islets, scattered in shallow, turquoise waters. Many are privately owned and some create a private island resort holiday.
Necker Island: Richard Branson’s private island is simply the best private island retreat in the Caribbean for couples. It’s only available on a room by room basis during select weeks each year so contact us for the possibilities.
Our Recommendations: Spend at least one day on a yacht. There are many deserted places to discover, like cays, bays, reefs and islands.
Island Hopping: It’s less than an hour by yacht to Rosewood Little Dix Bay, a resort fresh from a USD 185 million rebuild. There are scheduled flights to St Martin, Dominican Republic and Antigua too.
Amanera, Dominican Republic
About the Dominican Republic: Yes, well-known Punta Cana is a mass tourism destination. But the Dominican Republic is big and there’s real exclusivity and beauty on the other side of the island.
Amanera: Beautiful villas with pools. Divine and private beachfront location. Spa. Service. Very contemporary design and hidden in nature. Amanera is an intimate resort that ticks all the boxes.
Our Recommendation: Amanera is a surprisingly great choice for an active holiday. It sits on a 10-kilometre stretch of beach and jungle, with excellent snorkeling, scuba diving, surfing, hiking, horseback riding, and there’s a championship golf course.
Island Hopping: With a private jet or yacht there are many options. Amanera can be a great standalone holiday choice because there’s lots to do, plus good flight connections from Europe to the Dominican Republic.
Jumby Bay Island, Antigua
About Antigua: Welcome to the essence of the Caribbean, a very authentic and slow-paced island, with strong Creole culture. Complemented by lovely private resorts.
Jumby Bay Island: A private island-like experience that’s famous for being where A-listers stay. Very private, discreet and incredibly high quality. It’s where Leo Messi just went for this holidays.
Our Recommendations: Also consider Hermitage Bay, which offers a similar experience to Jumby Bay. Both are all inclusive, where all inclusive means the house Champagne is Moet & Chandon and all activities are included too.
Island Hopping: Scheduled flights to the British Virgin Islands (1 hour), St Martin (55 minutes) and St Barth (40 minutes).
COMO Parrot Cay, Turks and Caicos
About Turks and Caicos: Turks and Caicos is the most similar Caribbean destination to the Maldives. Small and private coral islands, where the holiday experience involves complete relaxation.

Our Recommendations: Go to COMO Parrot Cay with your children and parents. The beach houses and villas are so spread out, so there’s real privacy, plus activities for all ages.
Island Hopping: The best way to fly to Turks and Caicos is via the USA, so instead of island hopping we recommend a city plus island holiday, with New York a great option.
Cap Juluca, a Belmond Hotel, Anguilla
About Anguilla: Home to what most consider the best beaches in the Caribbean, Anguilla is a very sleepy and laid-back island where traditional hospitality remains strong.
Cap Juluca: The favourite resort of our clients visiting the Caribbean. It’s both intimate and spacious, barefoot and opulent. Expect Belmond Bellini Club benefits too.
Our Recommendation: Skip the entry-level rooms, you didn’t fly to the Caribbean to not have a private terrace and pool. We recommend the suites.
Island Hopping: Anguilla is a short boat ride across a turquoise sea to St Martin.
