Opened in late 2021, this is one of the world’s hottest properties right now. A strong contender for best hotel in France, where the levels of luxury, design and service are impeccably high. We think you’ll be blown away by how good this place is.
Stay at Cheval Blanc Paris
Paris sets trends and Cheval Blanc has started something new and unexpected. Flashes of gold amid a cocoon of whites and beiges. 1930s art deco meeting vintage 1970s Parisian elegance. A futuristic glass atrium, Belle Epoque glory, wrought-iron balconies and abstract art. This is a destination hotel, the first urban hotel from LVMH. You can really feel that they’ve spent big on their new flagship property, with no expense spared in terms of creative design and unseen attention to detail. Cheval Blanc is already known for its trendsetting hotels in exclusive locations. This may just be their finest achievement to date.
Location
As central as you can be. Right on the River Seine, overlooking Pont Neuf, next to the Louvre and across the water to Notre-Dame and the Latin Quarter. The hotel is one part of LVMH’s restoration of the historic La Samaritaine department store, where the 19th-century Parisian bourgeoisie did their shopping.
Rooms
LVMH haven’t been bashful about spending big, nor in utilising the services of big-name designers from their vast portfolio. Even the entry level Deluxe Rooms are of an exceptional standard, while the various suites are simply magnificent, with a price tag to match. There are only 72 rooms and suites, spread across ten floors, with a feeling of privacy and tranquillity paramount everywhere in the hotel.
Who is it for
Design lovers, trendsetters, couples who demand the absolute best. The atmosphere is very grown up so we’d struggle to recommend it to families. Save Cheval Blanc Paris for your romantic weekend away from the kids.
Facilities & activities
Despite the very central location, this is a Paris hotel you probably won’t want to leave. Art and design is the attraction and in this regard, Cheval Blanc Paris ascends from being a place to stay to a destination experience. Expect high quality necessities, like a rooftop garden bar, Dior spa, the fabulous pastry cafe Limbar, and a three-Michelin-star restaurant, Plenitude.
