One&Only Kéa Island comes hot on the heels of One&Only Aesthesis, which recently opened on the Athens Riviera.

Introducing Kéa Island
Kéa Island was a secret getaway destination for chic Athenians, although mostly it was a place they came on the weekend to escape the city.
Although it’s a Cyclades island, you won’t see whitewashed cubic houses and blue-domed churches, like in Santorini or Mykonos.
Note that Kéa is almost double the size of Santorini, yet it’s not a known destination and receives a tiny fraction of the tourists.
The island feels like stepping back in time, with its traditional Cyclades farming roots and Venetian influences.
Capital Loulida is a car-free village draped across a hill. Most of Kéa remains as nature intended, except for the odd farmhouse, small village and ancient ruin.
Now this protected island has a place for you to stay, a base for a very exclusive Greek island holiday.
Introducing One&Only Kéa Island
Overlooking a tranquil bay, One&Only Kéa Island is the setting for a very quiet summer holiday. A place for contemplation, connection with nature and gentle explorations on land and water.
All the villas are constructed from local marble, wood and stone. Each has a private pool, shaded deck, and cinematic sea views.
It’s indoor and outdoor living, with the stylishness you come to expect from the One&Only brand.
Cliff villas can fit two adults and two children. Two-bedroom cliff villas are significantly larger, suitable for two couples or a family with up to four kids.
We initially imagine this as more of a couple’s retreat, especially outside the school holidays. However, there is the KidsOnly club and the resort expects to welcome guests of all ages.

A Holiday on Kéa Island
From Athens International Airport it’s a 15-minute helicopter flight to Kéa. By private boat the resort is only 30 minutes from Athens.
The main restaurant is all about Kéa’s local flavours, like olive oil, freshly-caught fish, plump tomatoes and honey. Four bars and a beach club provide spaces to hang out during the day and evening.
Expect to slow down. This is not a destination for rushing around with a busy itinerary. Still, there are some great things to do.
Various shipwrecks dot the depths around the island and they’re mostly unexplored. Wreck diving with dive master Yannis Tzavelakos is part of the resort’s offer.
A resident archaeologist Petroula Tatsopoulou leads private tours around the island and help you discover island culture.
Sailing around the Cyclades is certain to be on your itinerary, whether it’s just for sunset, going in search of Grecian ruins, swimming in remote coves or snorkelling adventures.
