Where to Watch the Champions League

Hint: it’s not on your television. It’s only live once and you need to be in the stadium.

How to Watch the Champions League

Step 1: Pick the one or few fixtures you simply can’t miss.

Step 2: Get a VIP package with Champions League tickets.

Step 3: Tailor a holiday with flights, hotel and city experiences.

Step 1 is on you. Step 2 and 3 is what we specialise in.

Milan

The wildest place to safely watch the Champions League on a direct flight (Galatasaray is crazy, not always safe).

Are you AC Milan or Internacional? We’re AC Milan, because group F is the group everybody wants to see.

  • AC Milan vs PSG – Tuesday 7th November
  • AC Milan vs Borussia Dortmund – Tuesday 28th November
  • AC Milan vs Newcastle – Tuesday 19th September

Hotel: Great choices in Milan city centre. Get contemporary glamour at Bulgari Hotel Milano, go old world at Grand Hotel et de Milan, or find an oasis away from football at Four Seasons Hotel Milano.

Bayern Munich

The legendary Champions League atmosphere close to home. Two legendary teams you can drive to go watch.

  • Bayern Munich vs Manchester United – Wednesday 20th September

Hotel: Mandarin Oriental Munich was the best hotel in the city. Rosewood Munich opens on 29th September and we expect it to be better. So combine Die Bayern at the Allianz Arena with one of 2023’s hottest hotel openings.

Real Madrid

The most successful European club team, the most famous Champions League stadium, now almost fully finished after renovation. It doesn’t get more iconic than this, especially when they play the champions of Italy.

  • Real Madrid vs Napoli – Wednesday 29th November

Hotel & Logistics: Iberia’s Prague to Madrid flight lands at 18:45, just enough time for a 21:00 kick off. There are three outstanding new or renovated hotels with relatively easy access to the Santiago Bernabeu, located to the north of the city centre. Rosewood Villa Manga, Mandarin Oriental Ritz Madrid, Four Seasons Madrid.

Union Berlin

Union Berlin only reached the Bundesliga in 2019 and now they’re playing Real Madrid. And you can drive there from Prague in 3.5 hours.

  • Union Berlin vs Real Madrid – Tuesday 12th December

Hotel & Logistics: If you don’t have time, drive back after the game. Kempinski Adlon Berlin is the city’s most iconic hotel, at Brandenburg Gate. To best experience a team from East Berlin, we will advise you personally on a boutique hotel in an East Berlin neighbourhood.

Newcastle

The 52,000 capacity St James Park is crazy when Newcastle are playing Brentford. Now imagine, they haven’t been in the Champions League for 20 years. And Newcastle are in the craziest Champions League group since as long as we can remember.

  • Newcastle vs PSG – Wednesday 4th October
  • Newcastle vs Borussia Dortmund – Wednesday 25th October
  • Newcastle vs AC Milan – Wednesday 13th December

Logistics: Direct flights from Prague to Newcastle are only on Mondays and Fridays. Newcastle is a comfortable three-hour train or short flight from London, so spend a night in the toon before or after the capital.

Champions League Final

Can you really wait until June to experience the Champions League? Most likely, the final will be your second or third game of the season. It’s at Wembley, London, on 1st June 2024.

Your Champions League Experience

We don’t follow the Champions League to watch Young Boys vs Red Star Belgrade. Or Real Sociedad and Salzburg. We want the best players, biggest teams, and most electrifying games.

It’s a little like how we approach travel too. If you want a package holiday then we’re not for you. We custom exclusive travel experiences that include the things you can’t always buy.

Where will you watch the Champions League this year?
