A good choice for anyone who wants an unencumbered view of the Eiffel Tower. This is one of the glitziest neighborhoods in town, but bear in mind it’s further afield than the Golden Triangle, so if you’re looking for shopping on your doorstep, look elsewhere.

Location
Set in one of the most exclusive neighborhoods in Paris, the Eiffel Tower is just 20 minutes by foot. This is the main reason to stay in the 16h arrondissement - most of Paris’ other major landmarks are around a 30 minute walk away.

The Shangri La is great for couples, professionals and families alike but more than anything, come if you’re an Eiffel Tower aficionado. Museum buffs will also enjoy the 16th arrondissement which has the highest concentration of museums in Paris.

One of the hotel’s highlights is a beautiful swimming pool, filled with natural light thanks to enormous glass windows. Another is the only Michelin starred Chinese restaurant in France (this is the Shangri La after all). Then there’s the spa, with its natural healing methods derived from ancient Asian practices.
