Stay at Hotel d'Angleterre
This is a grand, historical Belle Époque hotel. It stands right next to the Beau-Rivage, and has a similar style to it, but there’s a difference between them — their size.Hotel d’Angleterre reduced the number of rooms to only 45 to meet the needs and desires of its guests, so it has a 2 to1 staff-to-guest ratio. For comparison, the Mandarin Oriental has nearly 200 rooms, the Four Seasons around 115, and the Beau-Rivage 90.
Location
Hotel d’Angleterre is on the left bank of Lake Geneva, right in front of the Jet d'Eau. It’s 15 minutes from the airport by train or by car, and Geneva’s landmarks are all within a 20-minute walk.
Rooms
Each room has its own individual design and eclectic decor. Twelve rooms and suites have lake views, and these are the ones we advise you to book. If you come with your family, it’s possible to stay in interconnecting rooms.
Who is it for
This is a family-friendly hotel — there’s a dedicated kids’ menu, games and toys for the children, and babysitting service on request.
Facilities & activities
The hotel restaurant serves international cuisine, and the bar offers an extensive selection of drinks. There’s a hotel sauna, and guests can use a nearby fitness centre.
