Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich

Fresh from an extensive renovation, this former grand dame is now an elegant and contemporary hotel with the ultimate location in the heart of Zurich.

Stay at Mandarin Oriental Savoy

The original and iconic Savoy first opened in 1838, the oldest grand hotel in Zurich. Redesigned by Tristan Auer, Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich is becoming a celebrated address once more. It’s a very modern hotel now, elegant, sophisticated and strong on service. A good choice for any visitor to Zurich, particularly for short stays in the heart of the city.

Location

A central as can be. This exclusive landmark on Zurich's Paradeplatz, in the heart of Bahnhofstrasse, lies close to the main luxury flagship stores, the historic town and the charming promenade leading to Lake Zurich. It’s a 15-minute transfer from the airport and almost everything in Zurich is reachable on foot.

Rooms

Tristan Auer's refined design blends Zurich-inspired decorative influences with warm tones and modern touches. The 80 stylish accommodations include 36 of the city's largest suites. We particularly like the corner suites which have amazing views.

Who is it for

This contemporary hotel finds a difficult balance as it’s suitable for couples, business travellers and families. Around a third of the rooms are interconnecting and the central location makes it easy for kids. Business facilities don’t take away from the charm couples can find. For our clients it’s most likely to be used as a short stay, although business travellers will find everything they need for a longer stay.

Facilities & activities

This hotel has no spa, but there’s a fantastic gym and a breathtaking rooftop terrace. Exquisite Italian fine-dining, French-inspired delights and an enchanting rooftop bar with panoramic views and Asian bites.
