Sitting down to lunch at the Herdade do Esporao winery is worth this trip itself. This is a Michelin starred restaurant that is lucky enough to be surrounded by the bountiful Alentejo. This is Portugal’s ‘Garden of Eden’ where everything screams quality, from the meat to the vegetables, to the herbs that are found everywhere.
