Take a glass of premium-brand Champagne. It’s included. Dine a la carte in one of seven on-site restaurants. It’s included. As is dining at tavernas that are off-site in Corfu town and Dassia. Bicycles, tennis courts, a private pool, a massage in the spa and a minibar stocked with premium brands. These inclusions and so many more have helped Dassia redefine an all-inclusive beach holiday on Corfu.
Location
Backed by green hills on Corfu’s east coast, Ikos Dassia has a quiet location on a sandy beach. It’s 20 minutes from the airport and 15 minutes from the town.
Rooms
This is a big resort with over 400 accommodations spread between two substantial buildings. Rooms and suites vary in size and whether they have a sea view: we recommend against the entry-level category. Bungalows are the more luxurious and spacious option, especially for families. Suites with private pools can also be a good option for couples. While the design lacks in terms of character and colour, all the accommodations are comfortable and well appointed.
Who is it for
Sun seekers who want an easy summer holiday with exhaustive facilities and a complete repertoire of inclusions. This means it’s a popular family resort during the school holiday season and used by couples outside of this.
Facilities & activities
This is not a stereotypical all inclusive. A la carte dining is included at seven on-site restaurants, plus three tavernas located in Corfu Town, Dassia and on a nearby island. The children’s pools and playgrounds are complemented by a program of children’s games and activities. Two spas are another highlight and full marks for the resort’s concierge-style app, which will help you explore different parts of Corfu. The beach is complemented by swimming pools which helps to spread out guests during peak season.
