Hotel Botánico is in Puerto de la Cruz, on the north of Tenerife. It sits across the street from the Botanical Gardens, and is a 5-minute drive from the town’s central square. It’s a 20-minute drive from the hotel to Tenerife North Airport, while the South Airport is 1 hour away.
Rooms
The elegant decor with vintage touches strikes the right balance of neutral and warm colours. Some rooms have furnished terraces and views of Mount Teide.
Who is it for
Though kids are welcome, they will probably get bored. The pace of life in the gardens is slow, and the hotel is not on the beach. We believe there are better options for family stays in Tenerife — but adults who enjoy an old-fashioned leisurely ambience will love it.
Facilities & activities
Hotel Botánico is not on the seafront, and it’s a 20-minute walk to the nearest beach. But it’s steeped in tranquility, and the gardens are mesmerizing. The spa in the exotic but beautiful Oriental gardens is remarkable. The hotel has a putting green and tennis courts, and six restaurants, including a health-focused one.
