Stay at the SHA
Admire the Bay of Altea from a rooftop swimming pool. Relax in your new suite and feel the fresh Mediterranean air. Dine on creative vegetarian cuisine. Explore one of the circuits in the spa. It feels like a relaxed Spanish holiday but you don’t just come here to relax. SHA Wellness Clinic balances spa and wellness with targeted medical programs. You come here so you live for longer, after a personalised schedule including tests, treatments, therapies, and interactive healthy living classes. Doctor Mera, head of the clinic’s Healthy Ageing Program explains it best. “People who come here are successful and know how to grow money. At SHA they learn how to apply this to their most important capital, their health.”
A peaceful hilltop location with glorious Mediterranean views, but very little to do beyond the hotel. SHA Wellness Clinic is roughly halfway between Valencia and Alicante on Spain’s Costa Blanca. It’s around one hour by road from either of Valencia or Alicante airports.
Floor-to-ceiling windows are just one feature of SHA’s modern design. Everything is smooth, spacious and forward thinking. There’s also an exceptional variety of room types, including multi-bedroom residences and suites with private pools. You will feel very comfortable here, whether it’s a one, two or three-week stay.
Who is it for
People who want to improve their health with a dedicated medical wellness program of at least one week. SHA often recommends a two-week minimum for long-lasting results. Some rooms are designed for families although the treatments and spa are only for adults.
Amenities & Activities
Most of your day will be filled with tests, treatments and appointments with medical professionals. Like deep tissue massages, acupuncture, osteopathy, facial mesotherapy, lung detox nebulisation and intravenous ozonetherapy. The food is fabulous, a combination of Mediterranean and Okinawan diets, the two places with the world’s highest life expectancy. Interactive food classes are another highlight. The spa is good but consider it an addition to your program, not the reason to travel.
