The Royal Hideaway Corales Beach is in the village of La Caleta in the south of Tenerife. It’s an oceanfront hotel, but it’s a 5-minute drive to the nearest beach. The island’s South Airport is a 20-minute drive away.

Rooms

This is an all-suite hotel. It does include junior suites, and you can choose from normal junior suites and junior suites with a private hot tub on the terrace. The decor is modern and light, with plenty of white colour. Depending on what floor you choose, you will have a partial or good sea view, or the panoramic view in the highest floors.

Who is it for

This is the adults-only section of the adjoining Barcelo’s Corales Resort — it’s just the place for a couple’s vacation. If you are bringing your under-16 kids, stay at the resort instead.

Facilities & activities

If you are here for the beach, the closest one is La Enramada — a typical, black sand volcanic beach (just like most others in Tenerife). The hotel offers a daily fitness programme and a few outdoor pools. Besides, there are a range of experiences you can book — from opera to flying over Mt. Teide to stargazing from a boat deck.
