Location
In the mountains of Perez Zeledon, this Auberge property is opening up tourism in an undeveloped region. Arrive in style on a 25-minute air transfer from San Jose’s international airport. Or it’s a beautiful three-hour drive. From this southern hideaway you can easily explore Chirripo and Manuel Antonio national parks on day trips.
Rooms
A showcase of indoor and outdoor living, all the casitas have the Auberge glamour and attention to detail. Two-bedroom casitas are great for friends and family. Not all rooms are made the same though and only some have private plunge pools and sun terraces. In parts of the resort they feel a little close together too, so exact room choice is very important.
Who is it for
A great option if you seek soft adventure, whether as a couple or family. You’ll enjoy a lot of western comforts and also a great range of activities. Spa lovers won’t find a better place in Costa Rica.
Facilities & activities
Dedicated experience designers plan holiday programs individually for every guest, mixing wellness, dining, exploring and adventures. Almost everything, including the three restaurants, are included in these so-called holistic stays. Such a big spa is the obvious on-site highlight, although there are many smaller, less-celebrated touches that are key to the Auberge charm.
