Located in a natural amphitheatre, each of the five descending layers of this luxury getaway tumbles down toward a private sandy beach and all share exquisite views over Vathi Bay. This is the second-most expensive hotel built in Greece, and it shows. With a labyrinth of stairs and tunnels connecting the levels, taking time to explore the vast complex is endlessly rewarding. Guests – especially those with families – have no reason to ever think of leaving.
Location
Around an hour’s drive east from Crete’s Heraklion Airport, along the winding coastal road. The resort is also just a short 12 mile journey from the fascinating isle of Spinalonga, home to both a Venetian fort and former leper colony.

Families. This is luxury in a very family-friendly setting. If you are looking for romantic walks with your beau on an empty beach, we advise you to look elsewhere.
