Steep gorges rise up almost vertical, carved from an ancient river. Green carpets of land stretch as far as the eye can see. Lakes, mountains, bright blue skies – all of this is yours to enjoy in the Yol Valley National Park.
As you hike through the valley, you’ll spy indigenous animals who make this valley their home. Altai snowcocks, ibex, yaks, Argali mountain sheep. And if you’re lucky, you’ll spy the bone-eating bearded vultures for who the national park is named after, circling overhead or gathering on the ground over their prey.
This is the real Mongolia, the one not everyone gets to see. Wild, quiet and beautiful. And all yours for the day.
