World’s Best Hotel Gastronomy?

A playground for adults where you can explore the world’s gastronomy without leaving the hotel.

Atlantis The Royal opened in February 2023 and EliteVoyage CEO Petr Udavsky was one of the first guests.

His trip report highlighted the high quality of service and remarkable range of experiences on offer. Central to Petr’s experience was all the restaurants and bars.

The quality and diversity of gastronomy at Atlantis The Royal is better than any other hotel we’ve visited. This is a new level of destination dining.

Nobu Beach Club

You’ve just arrived on holiday in Dubai. So it’s beach and sun time. That means a day at the world’s first Nobu Beach Club.

Lounge around the sand and around the pool area, sampling the awesome array of cocktails and dining on real Nobu cuisine.

”I love the Wagyu sandwich”, says Petr, “it looks like a cake and is so delicious.”

Resonance by Heston Blumenthal

Resonance Bar Lounge

British celebrity chef Heston Blumenthal is behind Resonance, a bar lounge area backdropped by an enormous jellyfish aquarium.

This is Petr’s…Octo-dog!

Petr Udavsky says:

Do pre-dinner drinks and snacks at Resonance. Order an Octo-dog, it’s like a hot dog but with an octopus tentacle inside.

Beef Royal at Dinner

Blumenthal chose Atlantis The Royal to open new branch of his two Michelin star London restaurant Dinner, which serves historic British cuisine from the 14th century and onwards.

Breakfast at Atlantis The Royal

The main Atlantis The Royal breakfast room

The main breakfast room is like a giant food market, far beyond anything I’ve seen at a hotel before.

How much truffle do you want on your scrambled eggs?

Breakfast is special at Atlantis The Royal, says Petr. Stay in a Suite or one of the Royal Club rooms and you also have access to the Royal Club Lounge, a very tranquil breakfast option.

La Mar by Gaston Acurio

Ceviche tasting at La Mar

Tom Roelens, General Manager overseeing both Atlantis The Royal and Atlantis The Palm, gave us one very important recommendation.

Make sure you dine at La Mar, a restaurant by legendary Peruvian chef Gaston Acurio.

Chefs in the open kitchen at La Mar

Peruvian cuisine is finally gaining worldwide recognition. People are discovering the country’s signature dish, ceviche, and the signature drink, pisco sour.

Whole fish nikkei at La Mar

Gaston Acurio is Peru’s best known chef and La Mar restaurant has these classic dishes as a mere starting point. For a really special dinner at Atlantis the Royal, this is the place.

Ariana’s Persian Kitchen

Ariana’s Persian Kitchen

At Atlantis The Royal you can travel the world through food. Ariana’s Persian Kitchen evokes the aromas of a traditional Persian home. It’s a culinary meeting place of meats, grains, vegetables, fruits, nuts and floral fragrances.

Iranian-American TV chef Ariana Bundy turns her time-honoured family classics into creative and modern cuisine.

Whether you’re a big carnivore or prefer a cold mezze dinner, you’ll find something interesting at this female-led restaurant. And you’ll discover the classic Persian interplay of textures, spices and flavours.

Ling Ling

The entrance to Ling Ling

Up on the 23rd floor of Atlantis The Royal, Ling Ling is where you go for a night of eating and partying.

Wagyu and lobster maki rolls with 24 karat gold

It’s fun, colourful and over the top Asian fusion, like these lobster and Wagyu maki rolls with shards of 24 karat gold.

Evening snacks at Ling Ling

Ling Ling is drinking, dancing and dining, in any order you please. Check out the table from Petr’s visit.

Cloud 22

Cloud 22 is Petr’s top recommendation – don’t miss it

After a night at Ling Ling you’ll probably need a quiet day around the pool. So settle into the new Dubai icon, Cloud 22.

Gillardeau oysters served at Cloud 22

Cloud 22 is only open to in-house hotel guests aged over 21. There are only 17 private cabanas and the service is incredible.

The menu here is light and fresh. So grab yourself some oysters before a mango and lime pavlova. Or play it safe with some Wagyu sliders.

Jaleo by Jose Andres and Estiatorio Milos

Afternoon tea is served in parts of the Atlantis The Royal lobby

For daytime snacks Atlantis The Royal serves royal afternoon tea and there’s a fun market place with a dozen different cuisines. Our final recommendation is to share some Mediterranean cuisine on your Dubai holiday.

Jaleo by Jose Andres

Jaleo celebrates the diversity of regional Spanish cuisine, from Valencian paella to Andalusian tapas, plus classic hams and cheeses.

Estiatorio Milos

Estiatorio Milos is a famous New York restaurant by Greek chef Costas Spiliadis. His new Dubai restaurant is all about sharing dishes with a view at Atlantis The Royal. Book a table for your final evening.

Atlantis The Royal was one of the most hyped hotel openings of the last few years. We found it exceeded expectations, especially in terms of service.
