Transformative Spa Experiences for 2024-2025

The most rejuvenating new spa programs and experiences for 2024-2025, based on feedback from clients and the latest from our hotel partners.

They range from a purifying ceremony in Mexico to skincare treatments in France, a Quit Smoking program in Spain to lighter legs in Italy.

Where will you discover transformative long-term benefits in the coming months?

Vair Spa at Borgo Egnazio, Puglia

Vair Spa at Borgo Egnazia

The sprawling Borgo Egnazio provides a real immersion in Puglian life. It’s a reconstructed Puglian village surrounded by olive trees and a Mediterranean sea breeze.

This extends to its Vair Spa, where all experiences and treatments are inspired by Puglian nature and the region’s slow pace of life.

U Mâre is a massage designed to recreate the sensation of being lulled by waves, complemented by a salt candle and seawater mist.

Natòure (meaning nature in the local dialect) is a mindfulness class aimed at opening your senses to the textures, scents and feelings of the olive groves.

Scents of prickly pears, olive oil and almond feature strongly in detoxifying treatment Staggiaume, which changes subtly to match the Puglian seasons.

Layover Treatments at the Dior Spa, Hamad International Airport, Doha

Dior Spa, Hamad International Airport

Now fully operational after a soft opening last year, Dior has designed a spa inside Hamad International Airport in Doha, Qatar.

There’s a Dior treatment area for men with savoir-faire Dior barbers. Plus a Constellation double suite for couples, with a private hammam and jacuzzi.

The spa is open 24 hours a day and mostly offers 60- to 90-minute treatments, an ideal way to spend a layover when you’re flying with Qatar Airways.

As you’d expect from the brand, the spa menu leans towards skin and face treatments. There’s also 60-minute body therapies designed to increase blood circulation between flights.

Ladies Retreat Package at Chenot Palace Weggis

Chenot Palace Weggis

Chenot Palace Weggis is one of Switzerland’s newer wellness properties and offers dedicated in-depth health programs, aimed at transforming your long-term health.

Back on International Women’s Day the resort unveiled a new Ladies Retreat package, for mothers and daughters, sisters and girlfriends.

It’s designed as a celebration of femininity for two women travelling together. It comes with a Chenot Palace Weggis health program, plus additional skincare, facial and body slimming treatments.

Signature programs include Advanced Detox, Recover & Energive, Prevention & Ageing Well, with everything carefully personalised as we’d expect from this top wellness property.

Skincare Programs at Lily of the Valley, St Tropez

Lily of the Valley designed three programs for three different skin types at their Starck-designed super spa on the hillside above St Tropez.

This is the wellness retreat that finds a balance between cleansing and drinking cocktails, city chic and countryside relaxation.

Treatment at Lily of the Valley

The spa is huge and the new skincare programs involve three to five treatments over three to five days.

Supercleanse makes damaged skin healthier. Glow & Go bring hydration and luminosity to skin lacking radiance. Ultimate Hyaluronic smooths out skin that has lost elasticity and has deep wrinkles.

The New Programs at SHA Wellness, Spain

SHA Wellness Clinic, Spain

SHA Wellness Clinic in Spain is among the world’s very best medical wellness destinations and gets great feedback from our clients.

We love how their innovative programs are targeted at specific people, notably a one-week Leader’s Performance Program to optimise long-term health and performance for business leaders and executives.

This summer, SHA Wellness introduced new programs to address specific health objectives: Sleep Well, Quit Smoking, Gut Health and Cognitive Boost.

For example, Gut Health aims to restore the balance and proper functioning of the digestive system, improving gut microbiota, immune system and neuroendocrine.

New Guerlain Spa at Cap Juluca, Anguilla

Guerlain Spa at Cap Juluca

Cap Juluca, A Belmond Hotel, has been a sure hit with our clients, offering barefoot luxury on a long white-sand beach that’s among the finest in all the Caribbean.

Beachfront relaxation is now complemented by spa rejuvenation, as Guerlain takes over the new spa area.

Wellness rituals are inspired by Anguilla’s Arawak tribe, embodying what the locals call naniki, meaning vitality and liveliness.

Opened this summer, the new spa is a delight in itself, notably the rooftop infinity pool and many plunge pools. As Belmond Bellini Club members we offer our clients in-resort credits for every Belmond stay, which can be used in the spa.

Balance of Life package at Brenners Park Hotel & Spa

Brenners Park Hotel & Spa in Baden-Baden near the Black Forest is another of Europe’s top medical wellness destinations.

This year they launched a new Balance of Life package, designed to recalibrate the nervous system and inspire new self-care habits.

It’s ideal for travelling solo and combines 14 individual wellness sessions, including craniosacral therapy, foot reflexology, meditation and learning the art of Abyanga self massaging.

Holistic Twilight Ceremony at Las Ventanas al Paraíso, a Rosewood Resort, Mexico

Las Ventanas al Paraíso

An acting shaman uses sage smoke, prayers and a large eagle feather to drive out negative energy from guests taking part in this Holistic Twilight Ceremony.

It’s a purifying and cleansing ritual amid burning candles and sounds from crystal bowls, performing daily at dusk.

This ritual won the award of World’s Best Signature Treatment at the World Spa Awards 2023.

It’s another reason to discover the superb Las Ventanas al Paraiso, a lavish and elegant Rosewood property on the Pacific side of Mexico.

T Spa at Grand Hotel Tremezzo, Lake Como

T Spa at Grand Hotel Tremezzo

In last year’s round up of new spa experiences we were inspired by stunning contemporary spa facilities at hotels like Six Senses Rome and Maroma, A Belmond Hotel.

This year we’re in love with the architecture and design of lakeside T Spa, at Grand Hotel Tremezzo on Lake Como.

It’s so rare to find spa facilities in a heritage building. T Spa is housed inside the 18th-century Villa Emilia, the former library of neighbouring Villa Carlotta.

Think flowers and birds on the ceiling frescoes, a Venetian terrazzo inlaid with tulip, anemones and buttercup blooms. It’s a place to write your own wellness story.

Women Better Aging Program at La Réserve Ramatuelle Hotel, Spa & Villas, French Riviera

Spa at La Reserve Ramatuelle
