Stay at Rosewood Schloss Fuschl

Dominating the pristine waters of Lake Fuschl, this exceptional new Rosewood property makes for a short holiday that will suit almost anyone. It’s paradise for outdoor and active people, with so much to do in the area for all ages. And it also offers tranquillity along the lakeside at a beautifully restored castle, with a modern spa and peaceful views. The dining and accommodations are superb too.

Location

A stunning and very peaceful location, in the foothills of the Alps, along the shores of Lake Fuschl. It’s only a 30-minute drive into Salzburg and there are so many outdoor activities in the immediate area.

Rooms

As with all Rosewood properties, even the entry-level accommodations are an excellent standard. Heritage Rooms and Suites are located in the original 15th-century tower and have the best views, but note there’s no elevator and the style is more historic. Lakeside rooms only have a partial lake view, while Lakeview rooms and suites have an uninterrupted view. We particularly like Deluxe Junior Suite Lakeview and Premier Lakeview Suite, as they have a private terrace or balcony. Families will enjoy the standalone lakeside chalets, which range from one to three bedrooms and have a private sauna. As a Rosewood Elite member we can guarantee our clients a room upgrade upon booking at this property.

This is an ideal short-break destination we recommend for couples, families and groups of friends.

Facilities & activities

Excellent gastronomy throughout the hotel, from the casual See Club to the fine dining Schloss Restaurant and views from the SeeTerrasse. The spa is large and modern, with a very wide menu of treatments. This is a superb destination for active clients as the area is paradise for hiking, cycling, swimming, fishing, paddle boarding and kayaking. But note we don’t recommend this hotel for a skiing holiday. No kids club, but lots of opportunity for family activities together in nature.
