Casually swimming by the tropical waters of Cancun from June to September every year, the whale shark is the largest known fish in the world. Yet, despite its immense size – larger ones average between 38 to 44 feet in length – the whale shark prefers to snack on small fish and plankton, small organisms gently swept by the ephemeral tides.
If swimming alongside these mammoth yet gentle creatures sounds like an adventure, we are able to arrange small group or private boat tours earlier in the day than anyone else, to maximize your time astride the whale sharks. Our boats are modern and fully-equipped with private bathrooms, life vests, and ladders to facilitate easier access to the water.
