Beside Half Moon, this is the best luxury stay in Jamaica. Both adopt a similar colonial style, though Round Hill is more understated and secluded. However, beach and golf amenities have a slight edge at Half Moon.

Round Hill rests slopeside, secluded above its own powdery sand beach. It’s only a few miles west of Montego Bay, but hosts a wealth of activities within close proximity. These range from golf and plantation house visits to river rafting and zip lines.

Who is it for
Children are welcomed here with open arms, and entertained via a free kids’ club and teen centre. However, given its discreet vibe and tucked away position, the resort is also apt for couples.
