Should you wish to escape the bustle, there are ample nooks inwards. Past the hotel’s glitzy lobby, slow down with a cigar. Then, vacate the lounge and enjoy cocktails atop the rooftop bar. As the sun sets, it spews rays across the terrace. Lit up tables glow beside the infinity pool’s stylish tiles.

If you stay here, you will be based in the heart of the capital, with brilliant views overlooking Parque Central. With city treasures such as Calle Obispo, Floridita and the Cathedral on your doorstep, the streets of Old Havana beckon guests to explore. 30 minute drive from the airport.
Rooms
The 246 abodes carry the same sense of glamour found in the communal spaces. Indeed, stays here blend high ceilings, chandeliers and light-inviting French windows. Rooms with balconies facing the centre are naturally the most coveted.
Who is it for
Though the mood is refined and rather sophisticated, children are still welcome and families can have beds added at no extra cost for kids aged up to six. Twosomes too will appreciate the level of luxury supplied.

Amenities comprise a cigar lounge, gym, sauna and well-equipped spa, but the real show stealer is the rooftop, where an attractive pool and terrace bar await. Scenic dining is the common theme at all three on-site venues.
