Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi

Remarkable views, a stunning spa and eye-catching design all grab the attention here. Firmly established as one of Tokyo’s best accommodations, this large and relatively new hotel can be a reassuring first stop on a Japan holiday.

Stay at Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi

Opened for the Tokyo Olympics, this glitzy and polished hotel has quickly become known for its stunning public spaces and stellar views. Step inside and you know you’re in a Four Seasons, but you’ll still appreciate how this is a hotel firmly rooted in Tokyo, through both the design and the vistas. With 190 rooms and suites, plus the popular public areas, it’s far from being intimate. But the service, rooms and design help to compensate.

Location

On the top six floors of a shimmering 39-floor tower in Tokyo’s main financial district. While it’s ideal for business travellers, the proximity to the Imperial Palace, Ginza and Asakusa mean it’s also a good - but not the best - location for leisure travellers.

Rooms

Beautifully designed with a nice feeling of space. We highly recommend you stay on the side of the hotel facing Mount Fuji and the imperial gardens. They have the most majestic vistas of any Tokyo hotel. The Deluxe Room - Imperial Garden is particularly good, with an oversized bathtub against the window.

Who is it for

Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi is best for those who like grandeur and big impressive properties. It can be very family orientated while also satisfying business travellers. Couples could enjoy it here, but the Four Seasons at Marunouchi is more intimate and we prefer its location too.

Facilities & activities

Expansive facilities dominate the 39th floor, where the scene is set by a show stopping lobby. There are two standout restaurants: one Italian with a beautiful outdoor terrace, the other a French restaurant focused on seasonal Japanese ingredients. The spa is among the best in all of Tokyo and the service is very polished.
