Private Night Safari & Astronomy

Words alone lack the power to adequately describe the spectacle of the stars over the desert. An infinite number of diamond lights twinkle so clearly in the black it feels like you could reach out and pick one. It’s a sight that has to be seen to be truly believed. So join this night safari and experience the spectacle for yourself.

The desert at night is even more otherworldly than the day. Ride gently over sleeping dunes in the back of a vintage Land Rover with a trained Conservation Guide and Astronomer at the wheel. Search the sky for constellations and the sand for a glimpse of a rare desert fox, desert gazelle or a swooping owl. Just beware the dastardly scorpion, fascinating to see but with a ferocious sting in their tale!

Guests will be collected from their hotel by private vehicle between 5-6.30pm and transferred to their desert safari deep in the dunes. After a delicious three-course dinner enjoyed in an authentic open-air Bedouin camp, they will be returned to their accommodation between 10-11.30pm.
