Heritage Desert Safari

For millennia the camel caravans of the Bedouin were the only means to cross the vastness of the Arabian Desert, until the 1950s when the first Land Rover arrived. A handful of these vintage desert-conquering machines still roam the dunes and have become a heritage symbol of this proud emirate.

Hop onboard one of these carefully maintained motorised antiques and allow a professional Conservation Guide to lead you on an eco-conscious desert safari with a difference. Guests will discover the UAE’s national animal the Arabian oryx and witness a spectacular falcon show before enjoying a 4-course dinner under the stars at an authentic lamp-lit Bedouin camp.

The experience starts with hotel pickup in the early afternoon between 2.30-4.30pm and ends with a drop off between 9.30-11.30pm. Transfers in shared vehicles are included in the price but private transportation is an easily arranged optional extra.
