Explore the Gobi Desert and Flaming Cliffs

You’ll never have seen anything quite like it. Red-orange sandstone that when sunset hits it just right, glows like it’s on fire. This isn’t just a pretty cliffside, this is also the site where the first nest of dinosaur eggs was ever found, back in 1922.

But today isn’t just about sunsets, as spectacular as they may be. The morning will be filled with exploring the Gobi desert’s famous sand dunes either on foot or if you wish, on the back of a Bactrian camel. These camels are tended by a local family who will welcome you with that traditional Mongolian hospitality, teaching you about their way of life.

Back to the flaming cliffs, once the sun goes down, you’ll be serenaded by a musical group of students from the local high school whilst enjoying a superb locally sourced dinner. A treat indeed.
