A good all-inclusive beachfront resort on Saadiyat Island, with impressive facilities for families, a fun vibe and contemporary Arabic style. The overall quality really surprised us during our 2024 visit.
Stay at Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island
Rixos Premium Abu Dhabi delivers an all-inclusive concept in a beautiful beachfront location, in a hotel that really feels like Arabia rather than some generic resort. It’s a fun place, with waiters serving drinks around the pool on roller skates, an outdoor gym with spinning classes and fresh juice bar, plus a wave pool and mini water park for kids.
Location
Perfect. Set back from a wide and wild part of Saadiyat Island’s natural beach. Although this means most accommodations do not have a sea view, the actual beach is amazing and a real highlight of a stay. It’s only a few minutes to the Louvre and Saadiyat Island’s new cultural district, close to Yas Island attractions and the downtown.

This is a busy all-inclusive resort with lots of good facilities that we can recommend to certain families.
Rooms
Families can connect a suite with a room, a spacious option for two parents and two kids. We like accommodations on the ground floor which share a private pool with a handful of other rooms. The 12 villas are larger and have their own club bar and restaurant, with the very best accommodations being one of the four villas directly on the beach, although villas are not completely private.
Facilities & activities
Saadiyat is the largest and nicest beach in all of the UAE. You have prime access from this resort, which has a nice beach club on the sand. Overall, Rixos Premium has the best and most facilities of any of the Saadiyat Island hotels, which helps the resort feel more spacious than its neighbours. There are multiple pools, an indoor and outdoor gym, good spa, small water park and much more. The kids club and teens club stay open long into the evening too. Dining in the main restaurant is buffet style and it does get busy, but you can also enjoy four a la carte restaurants during a one-week stay.
