Belmond took over this iconic beach property in 2023, immediately renovating the main pool and restaurant. They're now renovating the guest rooms and suites. The architecture and atmosphere is fantastic, the sea and views are very special too. Add in the exemplary Belmond service and Romazzino can be a great choice, but do check with us about the current state of renovations and exact suite choice.
Location
The ultimate Sardinia beach location, on Costa Smeralda. This was one of the very first Sardinia hotels back in the 1960s and, naturally, they picked the best place to build. Romazzino sprawls across a gentle hill, with a lovely beach down below and the clearest of Mediterranean waters.

Facilities & activities
Dining at Romazzino is excellent but the main standout is the service - in our experience it's exemplary. The property has its own yacht and an excursion on the turquoise sea is definitely recommended. Other facilities are being renovated and developed for summer 2025.
