In the afternoon, step back on land, where your guide will introduce you to Chamarel Waterfall, and the remarkable Seven-Coloured Earth dunes. The sand’s different chemical components account for its many hues — and for the fact that they never mix.
Your next discovery is Chamarel Distillery — one of the world’s few rum distilleries that still grow their own sugar cane.
