Recommended for: Design lovers and anyone seeking the hottest new property in Sardinia.
Baglioni is one of our favourite boutique hotel brands. They now bring their style and high-end luxury to Sardinia’s northeastern coast.
Baglioni Resort Sardinia is spacious and elegant, in surroundings that invite both romantic walks and childlike exploration. Note that the beach is 350 metres away – either a walk or golf cart – but there’s a great full service beach club on the sand.

L’Ea Bianca Luxury Resort
Recommended for: A “budget” luxury option. Tranquillity without the exclusivity or price tag.
L’Ea Bianca is a decent luxury option, but certainly not of the elevated standard you’ll find at Baglioni or Pitrizza.
This is a quiet and comfortable place, with its own small beach, only 15 minutes from Porto Cervo. It’s definitely a good choice if you prefer your holidays to be low-key or to save your money for adventure activities.
Abi d’Oru Hotel & Spa
Recommended for: Good value five-star option for families who don’t need absolutely everything.
Abi d’Oru Hotel & Spa isn’t particularly stylish and it has nowhere near the level of facilities of Forte Village Resort, but it’s still a good five-star beachfront option.
Marinella beach is fabulous and the Bee Happy Kids’ club should keep your youngest entertained. Go for an interconnected family room.
Villa The Rock
Recommend for: Family groups and friends seeking absolute privacy.
The Rock is a statement villa, granite and glass hidden in a small piece of Sardinian paradise. Four double bedrooms and bathrooms, an infinity pool, lots of play space and more.
It’s not quite beachfront but you do have sea views and the authentic village of Porto Rafael nearby. We know many other private villas to rent of a similar standard, elsewhere in Sardinia.

Recommend for: An adventurous week of exploring Sardinia’s less-known corners.
