Gladden Spit in Belize is widely considered as one of the top few places to swim with whale sharks. From March to June, especially around full moon, the world’s biggest fish gather here, close to Placencia.
You can encounter them on a scuba dive. Bubbles resemble spawn to whale sharks, drawing them in. This allows snorkellers to follow them on the surface. A single moment with such a giant will create a lifelong memory.
