Where will you relax and rejuvenate this summer?
These are the six brand new spas and wellness programs we’re most excited about.
Dior Spa at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc
The world’s first Dior Spa opened at Cheval Blanc Paris in 2021. Have you tried it? It’s a phenomenal experience, in one of Europe’s best new hotels.
In summer 2023, Dior’s new spa concept comes to the most iconic hotel on the French Riviera, Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc.
Treatment rooms are dominated by signature Dior fabrics and are highly distinctive. There are four in different parts of the hotel, including a garden gazebo and cabana overlooking the Mediterranean.
There’s an exfoliating hydrafacial with Dior’s Floral Peeling Lotion, and three different lymphatic drainage systems to combat the effects of a long flight.
Roman Spa at the new Six Senses Rome
Six Senses Rome is among a wave of new hotels in the Italian capital, challenging the old-world styles typical of the city.
It feels fresh and contemporary, but unlike Rocco Forte Hotel de Russie or Hotel Eden, it doesn’t feel very Rome.
Until you go downstairs to the spa. Which is pure old Rome, lavish and grand and just how you would picture an emperor’s spa back in the times of Empire.
Rome is a busy and noisy city where you need a space to completely detox. And this is why we see Six Senses Rome becoming popular.
Guerlain Spa at the Refurbished Belmond Maroma, Mexico
After a huge renovation, Maroma, A Belmond Hotel, reopens its doors on August 3rd 2023 in Mexico. Located between the jungle and the sea, mysterious Mayan tradition and modern luxuries, it should be a peaceful retreat for Riviera Maya adventures.
Among the highlights is a new Guerlain Spa. Guerlain already offers the best hotel spa in New York at The Plaza, and one of the best in Dubai, at One&Only The Palm
Spa competition is fierce on Mexico’s Caribbean coastline. The Riviera Maya is a great wellness destination and we love the Mayan-ritual-dominated spas at Chable Maroma and Chable Yucatan.
Talise Wellness Programs at Jumeirah Resorts Dubai
The Talise Spa at Jumeirah Al Qasr is another of Dubai’s best, a haven hidden among tropical gardens and waterways.
New for this year is a series of wellness programs, all based around the pillars of mental wellness, mindful movement, internal wellbeing and restoration. Programs are for three, five or seven days, with each individually tailored.
There’s Recharge, De-stress, Focus, Detox, Sleep, Mother-to-be, 360 Women’s Support, plus a Family program for up to four people.
Dior Spa Aboard the Royal Scotsman
Dior created a floating spa for last summer’s Haute Couture Fashion Week in Paris. You floated down the Seine for an hour, on a vessel inspired by iconic Samaritaine barge baths from the 19th century.
For 2023 Dior has gone mobile again, with an entire railway carriage on the Belmond Royal Scotsman train. It’s pure old-world glamour, like travelling on the Orient Express.
Inspired by Christian Dior’s love for rural Scotland, the spa’s signature program is aimed at alleviating the stress and tensions of travel.
A Dior Spa is Coming to the Qatar Airways Al Mourjan Lounge in Doha
It’s yet to be officially announced, but Doha International Airport looks set to offer what many travellers have long wished for. A high-end spa experience in an airport lounge.
We expect a Dior Spa to open in the new Qatar Airways Al Mourjan Lounge. If it’s confirmed, many people could be choosing Qatar Airways over its Middle Eastern competitors. A layover will be very enjoyable if it’s filled with a Dior Spa experience.
