Stay at Namiri Plains

Location
Situated in the eastern plains of the Serengeti, Namiri is seductively exclusive and remote. The location is particularly rewarding for spotting big cats. Meanwhile, the nearest neighbour camp is an hour’s drive away.

Just 10 ensuite tents make up this boutique camp. Abodes are large and spaced generously apart, ensuring both comfort and privacy. Within, an alternative Afro-Scandi design spreads soothingly. Views overlook the dreamy plains beyond.

Namiri Plains is perfect for those seeking an authentic safari experience. Children aged five and older are welcomed, with a specially-prepared family tent that sleeps up to four. Couples and honeymooners will appreciate the isolation afforded here.
Facilities & activities
A refurbishment upgrade in 2019 saw a brand-new pool area added, alongside an intimate spa. Wildlife excursions are plentiful, and there’s even a library and information centre for those eager to expand their knowledge. Meals take place in the shared dining tent. A communal lounge-bar tent also features.
